How to Dispose of Household Waste
In Japan, residents must take their household waste to designated collection points on specific days. Collection days vary depending on the type of waste.
Local communities maintain these collection points. Please respect the neighborhood rules and dispose of your waste properly.
Find Your Collection Schedule
In the Rokuhara area, collection schedules differ depending on your location. Gojo-dori Street and Higashioji-dori Street serve as the area boundaries.
Please find your area (1–4) on the map. The colors on the map match the area numbers in the schedule.
- Time: Put out your waste by 8:00 a.m. on the collection day.
- Collection day: Do not put out your waste before the collection day. Please put it out on the morning of collection.
- Location: Collection points for burnable garbage may differ from other waste types. Please make sure to use the correct collection point for your area.

Use local waste-paper collection services, community collection sites, or a City Beautification Office.
